just wondering what parts on the block are interchangable between the two blocks?
e.g. could I fit a b16 oil pump on the b18? etc..

damn near everything is interchangeable, the deck height is different (LS is 7 mm taller) so the rods are not interchangeable, unless you are using soem custom stroker crank or something, other than that, everything is pretty much interchangeable, some of it requires slight modification.

Yes, the oil pump is interchangeable, no moification neccacary.
