95 EJ with h22a swap: Goes into gear fine and does not grind at all. When going from 1st to 2nd its fine but when going to 3rd or 5th you have to force it over.

(lateral movement is like impossible) (does not return to neutral on its own)

I dont know how else to explain it 2nd to 3rd is IMPOSSIBLE you have to go to neutral then force it over just enough to not hit 5th.....Any ideas??? maybe binding of its supposed to have springs to return to neutral. I didnt see any bushings or anything and the tranny doesnt have any springs that would help return it.....

I guess my question is what makes it return to neutral so you can shift directly into 3rd from 2nd by pushing up.
