94 EX: replacing AT, what seals/gaskets needed?
The AT in my 1994 Accord EX just grinds when I select reverse. Ruled out electrical probs, so I'm getting a used one. I have some Honda ATF and an OEM rear main seal. What else should I replace? I just read somewhere axle seals (where can I find them in the FSM? what page and number in the exploded diagrams?). I don't want to (and can't) overhaul the replacement tranny or anything, just want be diligent and avoid leaks. Trying to get this thing buttoned up for a good daily.

The axle seals surround the (driven end of the) axles you can't miss them; they are pressed into the trans with a light interference fit
On the car maybe, but the diagrams are a little...obtuse. They don't show how things relate to surrounding components well. I'm still deciphering the diagrams. I'm not familiar with this car (got it two weeks ago)...and only worked on MT before.
What about all the other gaskets and little o-rings inside? Let sleeping dogs lie? I don't know how long this thing has been sitting. Is there a chance they've dried up or something and may not be sealing well?
