Default Passenger side axle still leaking.......

I did the auto to manual conversion on my 94 civic ex and ever since then my tranny has been leaking. It seems like it is leaking out of the output shaft seal on my passenger side, it leaks like 1 drop every 5 seconds and bothering me really bad. I replaced the output shaft seal 3 times and made sure it was flush and not pushed to far in everytime. Can anybody shed some light on this situation? It leaks on the side of the trans and blows back onto the shifter linkage. Its an s20 trans. Please help before I go mentally unstable.

Are you sure its coming from the axle seal?

I really wouldnt know anywhere else where it would be leaking. I thoroughly inspected the trans for anyother places that it could be leaking from but found nothing. There is alot of oil around the axle seal on the trans so thats what ive thought.

I replaced that when I did the swap so I dont think it could be that. The back of the trans is dry. Its just leaks underneath where the axle meets the transmission.

Ok, so I'm going to assume you are using B-series axles and a B-series transmission seal. There are basically 2 seals. B series and D series. From what I've read that trans uses B series axles. So you should use a B series seal. If you don't know. Take it out and look at the part number. Either you're installing it wrong or you're messing it up when you install the axle. Maybe you are over filling the trans.

B series seal 91205-PC9-711 (40X62X8)
D series seal 91206-PL3-A01 (35X62X8)

They are d series axles and the s20 is for d series I thought?
I thought about overfilling the trans but its been leaking for to long

So have you been using a D series axle seal?

You said you have a LS axle. Thats's not a D series axle.

Ok so it's a USDM D series tranny and not a JDM DOHC ZC tranny? Then I would guess you are using the wrong axles and seals. Try D series axles and seals. If you are using B series axles then use B series seals.

Noo noo I get the confusion now. I meant I got 2 aftermarket seals and one off an ls. I have d axles. it seems the ls one I have in now is to small. I have an oem on the way so we will see.

The LS one would be bigger. 40 vs 35. Thats prolly why its leaking. Get D Series axle seals.
