Lockless Door Handles???
Is there a website that sells lockless door handles for 1997 Accords?
I saw an integra on craiglist with this done. I don't want to completely
shave the door handles, just without the locks.
Let me know if anyone has some information on this,
or where it can be found.

I've never seen any sold with that purpose. However, Have you looked at trying to use a set of rear door handles from a sedan? they are the same shape and do not have a door lock mechanism on them.

I'm guessing that you would need a (+) battery post hidden somewhere for boosting or a hidden hood release mechanism or fail safe switch of some sort. I'm sure it's been done, there are a lot of shaved door handle cars out there.
I did it on my 92 Accord Lx. I just had to shave down the metal where the bolts hold the handles on. AND LOTS OF TESTING. I got it stuck once and needed to cut a hole in my door panel to re adjust.
If you get locked out you can crawl through the trunk too.

4 year rise from the Grave thread…!!! I'm looking to see if this can be done…this worked in my 94 & 96 integra's but i don't know if it will be plug and play with the accord……..
Since this has already been resurrected...
Would this be purely cosmetic or would it add a small layer of security? My old 95 accord was stolen and the thief picked the lock rather than jimmying the mechanism through the window (as evidenced by a physically damaged lock)... Which method of theft is more likely/easier?

I did this mod on my 96 and it wasn't exactly plug and play but it wasn't very hard to modify them to work.

The door rod opening mechanism needs to be swapped over from the front handle to the rear. Also the mounting tabs on the doors need to be made larger and drilled as the rear handle bolt holes are a bit different from that of the front handle.
