ok from my understanding i think all motors sold from www.hmotorsonline.com comes with the hmo stamp with an oval circle around it correct? the reason i ask for this is because i was planning to purchased a used jdm b16a motor from a guy where he stated he bought it from hmotorsonline.com 2 months ago and put about 5k miles only before he wants to sell it. he said he loss the receipt and cant find it. when i look at it i dont see any hmo stamp around the engine bar code surface area. can anyone confirm this that all motors from hmotorsonline.com should come with the stamp? the reason for this is because i know hmotorsonline.com sell good quality used jdm motors.

I think I have seen it on the motors over the last couple of years, but I bought mine form HMO in 2003 and there is no stamp on it

 

I dont think they came with stamps but i could be wrong

 

alot of people here said theirs came with it thats why i just want to confirm it.

 

I would call or email HMO and ask this so that you get a clear answer from the company themselves.

My B16 came with a stamp and along with all my friends motors. From SOHC to B18C's, they all were stamped

 

my b16a, my friends b16a, his brothers b16b and h22 all had stamps...but that was around 2006-2007

i;ve bought many parts from hmo over there years but never an engine. i just find better prices elsewhere

im sure steve keeps record of his motors, he would probably have the serial number on record somewhere. anyway, good to hear that it was confirmed that all hmotors engines are stmaped
