WHAT ENGINE CODE IS THIS FROM? JDM??
Hi,
Can anyone tell me what car this engine code is out of?
Is it from a JDM CAR and if so what year?
HONDA DOHC B16A 1705915

It's not like the EDM B16 engines where you can trace the serial number to a model year. Best bet is to get the date stamp, just above the exhaust manifold. It will help you narrow it down to a generation

It is a JDM motor, but I cant tell you what it came out of. The b16A was put into several cars. Check the casting stamp on the head. the last numbers is the year it was manufactured +/- a year...
