Somehow lately, ebay seems to have these things around alot in the states. Are they geniune and how much little mod as they
quote on description inorder for the RHD plate to fit USDM LHD Pwr wind. switches??

 

I hope you have a dremel? I have them in my car and it took about 20 minutes to get them to fit using a dremel.

 

christian is also leaving out what else happened to his arm while installing the switch plates

not an easy install...

Turbo ITR was only kidding. I didn't hurt my hand installing them. It was durring the acquisition I hurt my hand. That japanese guy kept rolling up his windows on my arm, while I was trying to rip them switch plates off.

They are real....i bought mine from my JDM contact....suprisingly enough i met him through ebay...i can recommend if you guys need something...kinda pricey these damn things are..i paid 100 shipped from japan...but IMO they are super kool...

 

yah me too Christian ... i had to use a dremel to make the JDM carbon fiber switch plates to fit. because they are meant for RHD.

 

JDM Honda carbon LOOK panels are just that, carbon look. just like the instrument cluster and center console on 00+ ITRs

 

i still have a question...anyone know if they ever had the carbon look for the passneger side air vent on the USDM?? i think thats the only thing i thought was cheesy was all the other vents had it, but that one was the odd man out...

 

highly doubt it.

 

From pictures it looks like the Type Rx might have the Passenger side Vent in CF (It on the opposite side but should fit on the LHD Dash fine.
Although I have not been able to confirm this and I tried to order it to check and have had No Luck

Hey, I paid $1,200 just to get those darn switch plates........ Oh yeah they also gave me all the other CF pieces, a flare, fog light switch RHD center console with Shiftboot and matching front and back black suede Recaro seats.

 

100 shipped from japan? The shipping is actually like 30$ so i only paid like 70 for the switches...ohh btw..i dont care what you think just because you wouldnt do it..dont flame...

 

yah ... i have the carbon fiber air vent for the RHD driver side. It does fit on our LHD tegs .. yet you have to do a slight modification to the right side of the vent. It has some extra cf on the side that you have to dremel down to make it fit right. other than that ... it's pretty dope. Along w/ that i have matching switch panels, jdm climate control, dc2r cf gauge cluster and shift console ... its beeeeautiful! haha
