hondata s300 is awesome. more than sufficient for what you are doing. quite a bit less than any AEM EMS or Motec system that costs more than our engines.

GT40R is no joke for a "budget build". A bit BIG to start out, ya know?
As for a wastegate, stick w/ a TiAL. 900cc injectors will get you less than 600whp, but you'll be venting a lot of exhaust gasses. Depending upon the purpose of the car, I recommend a 44mm or a 60mm for lower boost use.

yes hes right i also recomend tial 44mm wg and atleast 1000cc to hit the boost that gt40 is capable of... im running 1,600cc on my gt40/42 hybrid... and im also on hondata ftw.. but really depending on your setup its gonna be super laggy... im running 10;1 84mm on gsr head to spool that big thing and 35 psi

That's up to you to run it or sell it. We're just answering the question. No judgment from us ;-)

damn good trade, but like stated that alot of turbo for a dd. The turbosmart wg is also a very nice piece. The hypergate 45 would work well and the porgate 50 is also a very nice piece. I love tial too dont get me wrong, just more of a fan of the turbosmart.

FYI i am running a tial gate on my car but a Turbosmart 50mm bov

s300 is awesome especially with the boost by gear option... but you will be fine and capable of hitting 720hp+++ setup right... i hit 776 on a gt40r s300 1600 injectors one fab topmount victor x manifold aebs sleeved 84mm block cp pistons crower forged rods rm m22x cams.... your gonna have to build a down pipe preferably 4inch down pipe.... so buy a 3 inch v band and have them make you a 3-4inch dp

AEM 2 is a great system, the older one is good too but its just overkill for most people and its a nightmare to tune. S300 is a breeze to tune with and gets the job done well
