tuning SAFC to lean out fuel at higher rpms

Default tuning SAFC to lean out fuel at higher rpms

i got my car dyno'd last weekend and i finally know what my air/fuel mixture is doing as i boost. my fuel becomes too rich after 5000+rpms. i was told that if i leaned out the fuel with a SAFC, i could gain a good amount of horsepower. of course, he recommended gettin a standalone like Hondata, but daym... im out of funds. haha but yeah, anyone do this and get good power gains? i was thinkin about keepin the 12:1 ratio and stock injectors.. but just leaning out the fuel at higher rpms. good idea? or bad!

I'm using a VAFC and 4:1 FMU. It works but its RPM driven and not boost dependant.

Save your pennies and go stand alone.....I am.

AEM ems is a boatload of pennies btw (120000 or so).

what standalone do i need for my setup?? i think its the hondata 2b...for a turbo b18b
