Motor hesitates at 1500-2000RPM...what gives?

Motor hesitates at 1500-2000RPM...what gives?
Just yesterday, I noticed if I floor it @ 1500-2000RPM...the motor hesitates then feels fine. What could it be? Replaced the rotor and that wasn't it. I just bought new plug wires and spark plugs.

Yeah my car does that too... when Im in 5th gear. 
j/k. Ah here's what I'd check:
spark plugs may be fouled, fuel system may be clogged (change fuel filter), the ignition timing may be incorrect, you may also have an air leak on/around the intake manifold. You may even have low, or uneven compression. I dont know. Just my .02

I had something similar with my VX, didnt note the rpms though. I threw some fuel injector cleaner into my next tank of 93 gas, helped a good amount. I didnt do it, but my friend also suggested spraying some throttle body cleaner into the TB.

changed the plug wires and spark plugs...problem gone. I replaced the spark plugs with bosch platinums...smell like they run really hot.
