what size exhaust on d16z6?
ok, d16z6 in my crx. i have a custom homemade 2 1/4" cate back right now. the civics that have this motor stock look like they have a 2 1/4" exhaust stock.
so i am thinking even though the exhaust isn't stock on my car, it still feels close to stock for the engine. i am about to buy a real cat back, wondering if i should go with maybe 2 1/2" cat back? maybe thermal? please lemme know asap. thanks

also i know a guy that has been running 2 1/2" on his y8. but if down the line i decide to do turbo, would a 2 1/2" be big enough running about 7psi? thats all. thank you in advance..
right now im runing a 2 1/4 from header to rear section, when i got my rear section redone the guy used 2 1/2.. so mine goes from 2 1/4 to 2 1/2.... soon if i get a turbo its gona be straight 3"
or instead up upgrading to a slightly bigger exhaust, what if i stayed with a 2 1/4" and put on a 4-1 header? do u guys think i would not have enough back pressure and lose low end torque? i already have one i just bought, but have decided to just sell instead cuz i don't wanna lose low end.thanks for the repsponces
ive got a 4-2-1 header on my a6 and its worthless untill 4,200RPM or so. im putting a cat......back on. not enough low end. i know theyre different engines but just thought id tell you.

ok, i'll proceed to just selling it then. i won't even waste my time. i plan to do a turbo kit in the next couple of months anyway if things manage to come together right.thanks
