safe N/A bore on f22??? what do you think...

Icon2 safe N/A bore on f22??? what do you think...

like it says gonna be building a g-series (f22 bottom + h22 head) you all know what im talking about. But with the f22 what is a safe bore im fairly new to the F and H world, transfering from the B's.

It's usually a safe bet to go 1mm over on stock sleeves. I suggest that if your looking for more than that you should sleeve the block to be safe. Honda only gives 85.5mm as the spec'd Max bore on the F22A & B blocks.

So on an F23 you'd be looking at 87mm.

There may be someone running an 87mm F22 or an 88mm F23. But I have yet to see it on stock sleeves myself.

well i was looking to go 87mm and use type s pistons. i got me a h22 head so its gonna be a g22 but wanted to get that extra displacement along with the compression of the type s's...

its not gonna be a crazy hp motor, just want to do a rebuild with some oem parts and gain a little more power...
