So i swapped n a gsr into my teggy and it was cranking fine but not starting so i checked for spark....... and no spark. so im guessing it the ignitor in the dizzy so i took the one out of my prelude dizzy cuz they were the same. I put it back together screwed it in and then went to crank it and it makes a whining noise. what could it be?

sound like something is rubbing where the dizzy is..

take the cap and rotor off, and crank it to see if you can hear it coming from there, or see anything rubbing..

ok i had the cap off so i just took out the rotor and tried it and its coming from the engine i think because its cranking but it sounds weird

 

i will try to get a video of the sound
