I'm having this weird problem starting my car sometimes. I sit in the car and try to crank it, but nothing. It just clicks once. The engine doesn't even turn over. I sit there and try to crank it, but it just clicks. I do it again, it clicks. Do it again, it sounded like 1 cylinder was about to fire, but still doesn't turn on. Finally I turn it again and it turns on, but it sounds like it's running on 3 cylinders. I then rev it a few times and it's all alright. Turn the car off for a few seconds, then I crank it up and it fires right up like nothing happened. What could this be?? I changed the spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor about 2 months ago.

check all your grounds on your motor, main relays make that clicking noise when you have a loose ground, when it started and you said it sounded like 3 cyl. firing it was probably that loose ground.

It actually just made one click noise and that's it. I haven't had this issue happen again. It does do it maybe twice a month or so.
