Default Suspension options for a 1991 DA integra???

Hey my DA has 161k on the body, original suspension. it makes alot of noise, and the front drivers side are sqeaking badly and need new shocks.

I was thinking about just swapping the whole suspension out for a good set of coilovers.

I dont want a 2" super slammed ride. I was thinking maybe an inch or even keeping it stock height.

What are some options? i wanna fix the whole suspension in one go. I dont wanna have any old OEM parts on the suspension so do i need to change my bushings and all that too or is a full coilover set up enough.

thanks in advance.

If your bushings are bad then change them, since the car is that old it might be time. As for your suspension set up it depends on your needs and how much you are willing to spend.

Get some hardrace bushings pressed in all around and a set of Progress Coilovers. Make sure you repair whatever is broken. Basically, perform an overhaul.

Function Form - $630 shipped, you can't lose. Great quality for the price
Get a front & rear camber kit, your set for another 100,000 miles

http://www.jhpusa.com
http://www.robearracing.com
http://www.wek-sos.com

all great sites..

obviously, you can get KONI/GC combo, D2, K-Sport, Megan Racing, and more, this is just my suggestion.

i checked those websites and they have nothing for 1990-93 integras, it seems kinda hard to find a set.

so basically all i need is full coilovers, bushings, and camber kit and i am good to go?

As mentioned Progress > Function Form. I would go with those coilovers, new bushings, and alignment. For just an 1-2" you don't really need a camber kit. As for the bushings if you can afford OEM stick with it, I don't think they make a hardrace kit for the DA.

^thanks for the link, but i dont think i can afford 550 on my integra rigth now, that plus install plus bushings is gonna run 1000 dollars.

i might have to go for a cheap fix and just replace drivers side with OEM right now because all the other 4 still ride good.

unless i can find a good deal on a used set for 300-400, or maybe go with a strut/spring combo.

I just want to verify that all i need to replace are strut, spring, and bushings correct? im gonna try and take the car in monday to get it diagnosed.

U should prob just go with the shock/spring combo cause it's the chepest way to get ur car to handel a little better. U should check out craigslist and Hondamarketplace to see if u can prob get a used set of full coilovers for 400. And if u say it's making loud noices ur wheel bearing prob needs to get replaced...... Oh and u can go without the busings.
