From what i've seen, i think you have to chop the lower rad mount off, lower and reposition it. I think hood clearance is an issue, or it looks like it from my 98 CL

The Koyo double core (2") Civic 1/2 rad flows and cools more efficiently then the full sized Accord rad.

If check out my blog or look through my build thread there is more info on how I mounted the Civic 1/2 rad in my CD.

2.85Kg (6.5 lb) empty. It also holds more fluid. So I'm not sure that the aluminum is lighter. Anyone have the weight of a stock rad?

I have seen people only use 1 bottom mount and use steel strapping on the top mount to hold it in there. I've also seen people using plastic zap straps. I just figured that it would be nice to have it look like it was meant to be that way. Plus I wanted to move it over as far to the passenger side as possible. Room to move

There are no clearance issues with the dual core Koyo Civic 1/2 rad in a CD. Keep the stock lower rad mount height and it will fit.
