Swapped motor and now it won't run right????
'98 Accord EX F23
Replaced motor due to broken rod. Got the motor in and it took forever to get started. Finally started and kept dying. Wouldn't idle right etc. Finally got it runnin to where it will stay runnin but if you hit the throttle it dies. If you ease into it, it will climb to about 3k and then start cutting out. If you chop throttle it dies, if you ease off the throttle it will come back down to an idle. Car idles/runs rough and seems to have a miss. I thought I had my vacuum lines hooked up wrong but I've checked numerous times on the routing and everything seems fine. NO CELs. I'm baffled. Any ideas? ALSO, the engine mount control solenoid clicks when you rev it up. . . .. . .

Just start checking all the major stuff one by one. You know at least one thing is wrong. Check battery, alternator, distributor, fuel, intake, spark, ecu, etc. Just go down the list until you find it.
