Default Using a Ford Mustang throttle body....anyone ever do it

Im thinking about trying this mod. I dont have the money to spend on a JG or any other kinda tb, but the mustang ones can be found cheap and they are supposedly like 65mm or maybe even bigger.

Does anyone have any info n how to do this. It'll be going onto my Venom sheetmetal intake manifold.

Thanks

a company called RPS which also makes a turbo clutch, do a search on them. they put one on a gsr engine that made 400 plus turbo horses in one of the honda perfromance guides.

Why wouldnt it be. This is gonna be a built motor. Darton sleeves (hopefully), forged bottom end, hondata, etc.

i have heard of people using them on race cars but not on street cars . one of my friends has a mustang TB connected to a JG/edlebrock manifold so im guessing they bolt up . as far as the sensors go i dunno wat he is using . he has a tec3 engine managment . do aftermarket engine mangemen systems like speedpro , tec , etc..use GM tps sensors ? mybe thats how the sensors were able to connect .

is ford GM ?

They do not bolt up, drilling and tapping is required. But you'll need some kind of aftermarket ECM to calibrate the TPS to work correctly. Hell, I'm using an Infinity Q45 t/b on my turbo car.
