I have some 13' slicks, but the HX rims that they are on will not fit around the EX calipers.

what kind of cheap rims can i get that will fit the EX and be a 13 so my slicks will fit them

 

it was my understanding that HX rims were 14"

i think you have the VX rims which are similar but 13". you can put DX brakes on and the 13" rims will fit. that will probably be less expensive than a set of cheap wheels.

I would search. You can shave a very very small piece of unneeded metal off your brake setup with a grinder and they clear fine.

 

i would post pictures because if you infact have hx rims which are 14" you can easily make them clear your calipers by shaving a miniscule amount off.
