My '99 civic si has the ABS option, does this mean only in the front, or all around. Its got discs all around. Only answer if your sure. gotta replace rear wheel bearing and need to know which part to order. thanks

 

look on the back side of the hub and see if it has a sensor im pretty sure its just front wheel abs i could be wrong tho.

 

In the US, the Si did NOT have ABS option

In Canada, the SiR (same as US Si) did get the ABS option standard which has sensors at all 4 wheels

JK the reason why i ask is because the civic si (usdm ex)and civic si-r( usdm civic si) came with abs all around.

We didnt get abs in the states

Did you check to see if it is a US or Canadian car???

 

How can i tell? carfax says SI/SIR

 

if you have a CANADIAN civic sir coupe the abs came as standard...If you have a U.S civic si coupe it was an option and DID NOT come on the car standard,factory what have you....just 4 wheel disk brakes. So if the light on your car if your certain (check and recheck) says abs and not srs by the tach when you first start the car then you just might have a canadian civic coupe.
