Hey, need to replace the passenger side axle as the outer boot is busted. Now if I pull the axle will the transmission drain out? I cant remember if it was the driver side or passenger that causes the draining out.

Also how many quarts does it take for the automatic transmission for a 97 EX Civic? Is it 3? Thanks

 

an automatic wont drain out.

you should just be able to pop it out and put new one in.

manual transmissions however will drain out

Also how much transmission fluid does the automatic transmission take on a 1997 Honda Civic for a drain and fill?
