installed new distributer and coil wire, started right up, however i have a cracked radiator with a leak, and when i backed the car up a few feet, the idle started to die and bob back and forth. car never really warmed up either though.






by the way, it is an h22a1 motor in a 95 accord. 5spd.

 

Check your fuses in your bay compartment. One of them is probably fried.

 

all fuses ok, checked every one, in and out, none fried

 

no one else have any ideas?? i added 2 new grounds and charged battery, still wont turn on . how do i test starter

 

check your thermostat housing ground.
test your ignition, make sure you're getting power to the coil.
test your ignition coil.

 

yeah put new coil on, didnt fix it, so i put spark plug on engine and tried to crank over, not getting spark to the spark plug. so im assuming i need a distribueter? or parts of one?

 

i still need to see if im getting power to the coil, but not sure how.
