When I bought my 1989 civic Si the last owner gave me a fully ported d16a6 head, 3 angle valve job with every component of the head brand new still in the little honda bags. It is only missing valve springs, retainers and cam. I also got a good deal on a d16y7 block that I want to rebuild with higher compression pistons (p29 probably). I will go with an agressive cam aswell (bismoto, exospeed). After some research I see that you need to put an oil restrictor in the block, how exactly do you do that and where do you put it? Who here has done that? Thanks for the help!
