Honda civic cx

I'm having a hard time finding out if Honda civic cx come with vtec out of the factory or not

what year is your cx? if its an eg then no. they come with a d15b8 non vtec motor. i dunno about any others though

It was my impression that the CX was a base model for Civics... If you find a CX for sale with a VTEC motor, say it doesn't have the right motor so it's not worth as much, haha.

Nope, none of the CX's ever came with a VTEC engine from the factory; for any year.

Yea the cx came with the 8 valve D15B8 and its of course non-vtec. Mine didnt even come with a passenger side mirror from the factory lol.

Thanks guys much help ill stick with VX And SI model cause im not good with wires and i like to do everything myself without taking it to the shop.

its really not hard to wire VTEC, and you can buy any model and then just buy a VTEC harness for $100 or less.
