Default UPPER BUMPER SEALS

HI ALL... I have a 90 civic HB DX... Any one know what these look like or what they are made of... I pulled my rear bumber, sealed a leak behind it in a body seam, put it all back together and have now tracked the leak to the mount holes... The online catalogs show "upper bumber seals" I had none installed... any thoughts

If there is a harbor freight near you, they sell sheets of rubberish gasket material for cheap, you can make your own gasket.

Got to your hardware store and just buy some rubber washers the same size as the mounting bolts. A little silicone wont hurt either.

thanks guys, any idea on thickness, and do these seals go inside the hatch area, or between the bumber bracket and rear support. I can't tell from the picture.

Put one on each side. One inside the hatch and outside on the body. Use a lttle silicone to adhere it to the body. Just use a flat rubber washer, should solve your problem.

Thanks for the info... I'll head over to HD after work today. My goal is to be leak free so that I can put the interior back in, A lofty Goal I know, but a goal never the less.
