help with sealing throttle body

Default help with sealing throttle body

i installed a new throttle body and reused the gasket because it wasnt ripped or anything. theres a huge leak at the TB. should i get a new gasket or should i try to use some sort of sealant? and if i torqued it too much would it leak?

No. You always replace gaskets when you pop the seal. Common car law dude.

just use high temp silicone i dont even have a gasket on mine i always use high temp silicone in place of gaskets except ones you need like head gasket and stuff
