97 dx wont start
well i have a 97 dx , i did a 00b16 swap, i got the car to crank but wont start, the pump wont prime, i switched the relay out & still no prime, i ran the pump direct to the battery it works, but the car is getting spark, but still wont start. i've checked all the grounds over. please help me out. thanks h-t.
check the fuses in and outside the car. i dunno if the ek is any diff from the eg but i have a fuel injection and clock fuse which has a bad connection. when the clock doesnt turn on the car wont start. they are on the same fuse under the hood so i shoved a spare 10mm socket in between the fusebox and body and now it starts everytime
Did u unbolt the sparks and checked if fuel is coming out of the injectors? Are u sure u have the sparks wires correctly connected, imean in the right sequence?Also check if 12V is coming to the pump. I suggest u to remove also all the fuses and relay and spray into the contact an electronic cleaner. this will help u to have safe electrical connection.

i got the pump to work.the injectors are spraying gas and i took out a spark plug and and had it on the wire to see if there was spark and yes there is spark. When cranking it seems to be dragging and not turning over full force. back firing also was coming out from the header. shot out a nice flame. (haha)

Did u check the timing belt? Are u sure u have correct timing? Are spark wires in a good condition? If thaey aren't u maybe haven't the full spark energy to run correctly the engine....
FPR is working good? if u have bad fpr maybe no fuelcoming back to thanks and afr is too rich and misfiring...

yeah my gsr runs perfect, dizzy and wires are in perfect running condition. ill have to try another FPR hopefully that changes the Air Fuel Ratio. possible that the wires could be mixed up to the injectors?
