Default New slave and clutch cylinder not working

I just installed my new clutch cylinder and slave cylinder, my friend and I bleed the system untill there was pressure in the peddel so we continued. But nothing changed, fluid is fine. Does that rod that connects to the peddel need to be adjusted? Because there is only pressure aginst the peddel about an inch from the floor.

This is my DD so any help would be great.

The pedal adjustment is not your problem. You say it has pressure an inch from the floor. Does that pressure ever lessen or go away after pressing the pedal alot? Make sure you are bleeding it properly. Air can get in through the bleeder screw if it is open when fluid is not being pushed out.
