Going from NepTune to Crome would be a huge step backwards.

Crome is no where near the rom editor that NepTune is. IMO they are not even on the same level for comparison.

If he can tune Crome he'll be able to tune NepTune, that is if you have an RTP. He can take a look at the software ahead of time to get a feel for it and he can always email me with any questions he has.

If you want to get a retune and you're currently on the NepTune chip based version you'll have to go to one of the NepTune dealers as they're the only ones with access to chip burning capabilities. Link is in my signature.

Login information? Do you have an RTP? If so is it an older RTP that mounts to the ECU cover or a Demon that sits inside on the 28 pin socket?

Crome was always free if you don't want real-time tuning or datalogging in the Crome editor directly.

it has a demon board in it...with a ribbon wire that connects it to the 28 pin socket

The Demon doesn't use a ribbon cable, so you must have the old RTP. The serial number should be on a sticker on the backside of the unit.

The older one with the ribbon cable looks like this:

You can download the software so the serial number is all you need; it should be on the unit. I would be shocked if Mase couldn't tune it with Neptune.

Glad you're enjoying it.

Mase has seen the NepTune software before and we talked about 5 years ago. it's only gotten better since then. I'm sure he can handle it just fine.

I take it you mean an older RTP? They're both called RTPs. The serial number is on the back of the older RTPs, unless it was removed by the owner.

Gotcha. There's still a lot of those in active use, which is good.
