Default d16y8 running on 2 cylinders need help

ive spent more time trying to get my **** running right then it took to put my swap in, bone stock d16y8 with z6 intake manifold everything is stock just has vitara pistons, it has fuel and spark to all 4 cylinders and the timing is spot on i re did it probably 30 times today, also checked it with a timing light it is perfect as of now, yet for some reason still only running on 2 cylinders me and my friend have been building hondas for a few years and never came across a problem like this that wasnt solved by timing, im totally stumped so is he, any advice would help, im using an obdo ecu and a dx to mpfi wiring harness i did myself no resistor box, obd1 injectors, obd1 conversion harness and chipped p28 ecu thanks

Are you missing spark fuel or compression on those 2 cylinders that aren't working?

Slightly off-topic, but don't Vitara pistons dramatically reduce your compression ratio? Why would you have those in a stock engine?

What makes you think it's not running on those cylinders (pull the plugs and it doesn't bog? Just generally running bad)? Have you had them compression tested?

Wouldn't this indicate that you're not getting spark or fuel? How are you testing that your cylinders are receiving spark and fuel?

From reading this thread and last, I can assume that your wiring is a rats nest with **** rubbed all over it.

i meant to say obd1 p28 but we did a compression test its all good, and we know its getting fuel and spark because we stuck a screw driver in the plug wire each one has spark also we know theres fuel because we can hear the injectors click with the screw drivers trick also gas comes out the exhaust

yo bro check the rotor or even the wiers becase that impossible if you pull the plug and nothing happonds that means there is no spark going on or no gas thru the injector you can get gas in the fuel rail but doesnt mean its going in to the motor
