Icon2 LIGHTING ISSUES ('92 CIVIC CX)

I need some quick help!!!

I drive a '92 Civic CX and my dash lights and gauge cluster lights don't work! I've checked all my fuses and all looked good. Some of the bulbs were burnt out so I replaced them but still no lights! The turn signal bulbs in my cluster work just fine along with everything else, tach, fuel, temperature, etc...

Pry the dimmer switch out of the dash and unplug the connector. Then use a short piece of wire to jump the red wire to the black wire in the connector. Do the lights now work when the light switch is turned on?
