Need help on painting bumper
They will come pre-primered. That's why they are flat black. Scuffing is all that's required. Remember to spray a light coating of sealer, honey coat, etc. on the back of the fender to protect the metal from corrosion.
It doesnt matter if you get the paint color matched. The fender and door will not match up and neither will the fender or hood. You need to blend into any adjacent panel. Good luck anyways.
The gloss of the fresh paint won't match the lack of gloss on the rest of the car. If you're painting it black like your photo, it's properly mixed to match your exact paint variation, your existing paint isn't faded and there aren't any flaws in the new paint then it shouldn't have any noticeable color difference. Slightly different blacks are harder to tell apart than other colors. Blacks also show scratches and swirl marks more than other colors so it's hard to get it to look nice and glossy.
Black and white are the hardest colors to match. Just take it somewhere and have it sprayed it won't cost that much, think about how much you are going to spend on doing it yourself....

A good gun is at least $300 then u need a compressor, air dryer or at least filter and water separator. Then u need a place to do it all. If you dont do it as a hobby or business it can be $$$$
Id like to see it myself. I use there guns as throw aways to spray primer. You really only need 2-3coats of color and 2-3 coats of clear. Going thicker just makes the paint chip easier.
