Default 4-wire 02 pinouts?

I have a sensor that lost its plug so i have to repin it. I assume the white is the signal positive and the other colored wire (green?) is the positive heater wire. Then the other 2 are signal ground and heater ground, right? Can i ground these to either of the remaining 2 locations or does it matter which ground it gets. I assume a ground is a ground.

The grounds actually do matter, IIRC.

But if you're wrong you just need to switch them.

yel/blk - 12v switched - black wire on O2 sensor
org/blk - heater control - black wire on O2 sensor
wht/red - O2 signal - white wire on O2 sensor
grn/wht - sensor ground - green wire on O2 sensor

ok kenji, that helps. but now, what do i do to determine which black wire on the sensor goes to the 12v switched and which goes to the heater control?

You can either flip a coin or look at a buddy's O2 sensor. Switching the wires is no big deal. If you throw a code you switch them back. No worries...

Hmm, I guess I lucked out then. I forgot to check the grounds before I cut and extended my current O2 sensor for my SMS header. No codes.

flip a coin.. good idea, except it would be hard to determine which wire would be heads or tails, b/c they look the same
