Defi A/F gauge
I am running the 52mm D-gauge A/F (discontinued). Went I turn the IGN to the on position all the gauges do there "sweep".After I start the car the needle will go to 13 for a couple seconds and then just peg out at 17 and not move at all. I tried switching from oem to bosch 02 sens.'s but no change and I know that the signal wire from the gauge is connect to the white signal wire coming off the 02. any ideas?

This is the only pic I could find. And
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Blown90hatcH »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">A6-PO2SHTC ->O2 sensor heater control (Black wire at O2 sensor)
D14-PHO2S ->O2 sensor signal wire (White wire at O2 sensor)
12V switch power...A25 or B1 -> O2 sensor power (Black wire on O2 sensor)
Ground wire ->D21 or D22 -> O2 sensor ground (Green wire on O2 sensor)
</TD></TR></TABLE>
Little google n h-t digging helps.

Have you let the car fully warmed up or is it still cold?
If it's still cold the car is in "open loop" mode and it runs off factory programmed settings.... most cars when in "open loop" run rich to help speed up the process of warming up the engine as well as the cat, once it's warmed up the car will go into "closed loop" mode. This is when the car is actually adjusting it's settings based on the sensors.
Try letting the car warm up (go for a drive) and see if the gauge starts moving around, if it doesn't it either means the o2 sensor is having issues (which I doubt) or your gauge is tweeked out (which I doubt just as much).

so you're not getting a reading on your a/f gauge. well did you hook it up to the right wire on the ecu? D14

Re: Defi A/F gauge (neocrynym)
As a follow up...I'll assume you realize that any A/F gauge such as this one (and most universal A/F gauges) dont really do anything on a stock O2 sensor.
I had this EXACT gauge (just sold it here on H-T a few weeks ago, actually), and it did absolutely nothing for me on my turbo setup. When starting the car, the needle would stick to around 12-14 then go down to 18 or so until I started the car moving. Then, all it did was point to 14.7 <u>EVER</u>. That's the ONLY place it ever sat. <u>With throttle, 14.7</u>. <u>Without throttle (high vacuum, decelerating, in neutral, etc.) it was pinned at 18 again</u>.
A/F gauges without a wideband O2 setup is 100% useless...I don't care what anyone tells you. They don't even tell you if you're running RICH or LEAN that well, either, considering your ECU is merely just telling the gauge to say 14.7 when running in closed loop...as any stock car/ECU is running.
Now, if you DO have a wideband, then disregard my statements and look into how you have the gauge wired. If it's wired fine, you have a bad gauge.

That is basically what mine is doing, I have just seen so many actually put on the small "light show or what not. I have the gauge so I just figured might as well use it untill I can find a gauge to take up its place so I dont have a whole in my dash.
