Tapping for lsv
i have a b18b1 bottom end and a b16a head which i am about to build a lsv out of. my question is if i tap the head on the intake side will i be able to remove that "tapped plug" if i decided to go back to a c1 block and b16a head
There should be an allen-head plug on the intake side of the head towards the passenger side of the car. Take it out and an adaptor for the oil line will thread right in. Just put the plug back in if you switch blocks later.
ok awesome.. so i ended up finding a b20b block right out of te machine shop with eagle rods and forged pistons already assembled .20 over wtapped for lsv with a block guard for litterally a steal. and when i say a steal i mean soooo cheap... i know this block is obd2 so what would i need off my b18 to make it obd1?? im guessing all sensors. i dont want/need any CEL lights to be on when im done
