H22 turbo manifolds
Ive got a cast log manifold now that i got for cheap. Ive been told that for an H the motor likes to really breath and that the log style manifold isnt really good for the H. Now im not looking for overall peak HP and dont really even care what the car makes on the dyno so long as the tune is solid.
Is it worth it to upgrade to an expensive tubular or is my log style fine. Ive got an 8.5:1 Eagle Wiseco H22a. Skunk2 T1's, 3 angle with stock port work. Cast manifold with a 5857 billet wheel T3 .63, 2.5" IC piping, yada yada. Im on 10psi now and the car really runs good. But was gonna turn it up to 15psi here shortly and possibly 22psi/E85 if ive still got time on the dyno.
Im thinking of upgrading to a stainless log style tho with a good full stainless downpipe.
Thanks for the help. Im new to Hondas. I ran a GT4294 on my DSM with a T4 Revhard and it did fine. Also SRT's run log style manifolds. Ive got friends making 550whp on built head stock bottom end SRT's with S360's and just an AGP log style cast manifold. I give this example because its a bigger motor and the log style doesnt seem to hold the car back.

You're right about the h22 motors breathing, I'd upgrade to a tubular design manifold, the log will work but just not as efficient. Sounds like you have everything else done right, get a decent manifold that will compliment the setup.
