Free giveaway from Mishimoto
Saw this over on clubrsx.com. I figured I would post it over here. Looks like they are giving away a silicone hose kit & thermostat to the first place, and a silicone set to the runner up.
Here's the link to Mishimoto's web site where the contest is being run.

FYI--those thermostats are bad news for a daily driver. They keep the temp too low and never allow the engine to come up to a normal operating temperature. This is turn can affect a lot of engine systems, including vtec operation, emissions, fuel mileage, etc.
The only thing a low-temp thermostat is good for is a track-only car.

Dickering with the thermostat will only cause headaches.
The only thermostats that should be used in a Honda car are the OE-replacement dual-stage units manufactured by Fuji Thompson (OEM), Nippon Thermostat (OEM), or TAMA Enterprises. In my considerable experience, these are the only three brands that are guaranteed to function properly.
While the Mishimoto part is a dual-stage thermostat, claiming that it is a "cooling upgrade" is rather dubious - in fact, I'd consider it a downgrade to replace a properly functioning part with a part that may cause improper function if used without supporting modifications that aren't mentioned anywhere on their site. To put it another way, if you install that thermostat on a stock or near-stock car, you're going to have problems.
x10.

So we only have one person that benefited from this thread? LOL
I figured a bunch of people would be on this instead of talking about how the parts aren't good for DD's since it's free.

I'm pretty stoked, I got a call today and ended up winning the contest. I'll probably use the hoses, but sell the thermostat, just because my car is a DD and isn't boosted.
