Default the EF nightmare continues

i bought a 89' hatch and i have no clue what wiring harness i have so if anyone can tell how to distinguish it i'd really appreciate it.

also i just put in a d15b7 in and i am running a virgin pr4 ecu so i have the following problems:
1) no spark but i have no idea what dizzy i am using
2) i only get one click from the main relay
3) i have a cel that i can't jump if my life dpended on it, and i have tryed with 2 diff. ecu's
4) the fuel pump is getting just about 5 volts, i tested it by putting a volt metter to it and it only gets power when i turn the motor over, otherwise i don't get anything
5) i check continuity and only one wire has power all the time when the key is on and while i try to start the car

all the help is greatly appreciated,
Nick

well on the bottom of where you bolt it up at inbetween the webbing is d-2426 and that is the only number on the whole thing besides what looks like a home-maid inventory number b/c it looks like it was put the by a dye grinder, and i am using the wiring harness that came with the car and i think he was running a d17? all that came with it is the block, i will check the grounds and tell you if that helped any, and yes the starter is good and hooked up right and i have a good battery

well i have the only 2 that i can find inside under the dash grounded, the ones that go to the underhood fuse box and i have 2 grounded to the starter b/c there is no slack to pull the one to the thermostat but i did have the 2 on the thermostat and i have the same thing, i also have 2 what look like relays grounded to the bay but i don't know what they are for. if there are some that i am missing i don't have b/c i checked a few times

Start by using a better ecu!

You are using a PR4, b series LS ecu for a 1.5L d series engine????

make sure the wiring on the car was done properly and that you got a resistor box and check if all plugs are getting spark...and go over the engine harness and look for any corroded and fxcked up cables/sensors/plugs
check wassup with your dizzy and plugs and plugs and wire and try running it with a pm6 ecu

However what I would do and is best in your case
try and bring home a whole stock goodlooking engine harness from a civic/crx DX must be DX(make sure to remove it properly and remember where everything goes)
and if you get a chance bring yourself another engine harness(si/hf prefferably in whatever condition(to get missing plugs/wires for a DX mpfi conversion) and a pm6 ecu
and that way get/make yourself a more complete and reliable engine harness(mpfi)
and not have to deal with a shitty beatup harness
