Default Can I run without an EVAP purge solenoid valve?

Working on all the little **** with the vacuum lines and connections on my b18c swap into my 99 ek. I noticed that I was missing a vacuum connection and had an extra plug that wouldn't go onto anything on my skunk2 intake manifold on the b18. Turns out the EVAP solenoid valve didn't come on my swap, and I sold my d16 so I can't pull it off that. I know that people have removed the whole charcoal canister and everything, but can I just leave this solenoid off my car and not pull everything else off, or should I get another one?
