No spark with new cap and rotor
Okay, so my cars been acting up lately, randomly dying out but it would start right up. It threw a map sensor code(3) after it died out once... but went away immediately after I restarted my car. I was just checking for misfires, I let the car idle and I pulled off the plug on the far drivers side, car acted funny then died out. I put the plug back in properly and now it won't start. I checked for spark and there is no spark. I get fuel, pump is priming good. Just no spark, bought cap and rotor because I had money and I never did it ever since I put the swap in. It is a usdm gsr swap. OBD2. After the cap and rotor, still get no spark. Is there anything before the distributor that can cause a no spark? Not the spark plug wire side, but the other side?
Or if anyone has a surefire answer on this, throw it at me.
