how to install tachometer 99 civic dx
Not to get all ClubCivic on you, But woulden't it make much more sense in buying a EX cluster with a tach built in?..But if you must here's all i know about that.
Red/White-Cig lighter
Black-Ground
Green-Get a pocket knife and start shaving the wires near your motor until you find it maybe someone on HT can fill that spot for you

Green is what actually is getting the RPM signal.I would honestly just splice into the factory wiring behind the cluster for the green wire. You'll have to look it up. I'm too lazy.
Green- Splice into the wire harness mounted on your distributor there should be a series of wires, Green goes into blue i think it may be blue with a white stripe i'm not sure but it dosen't matter since there is only one blue wire in that.
