No fluid comes out when I try to wash the front or back window, and I cannot hear the pump run. Very cold here, but even after running the car for a long while to warm things up, no fluid. The dipstick is stuck in the reservoir (the cap disconnected from the dipstick) - could it be frozen in the bottom? I can't even pull it out with pliers! The wipers turn on and run fine, so I dont think its a fuse issue.

Do I need to replace the pump or could everything just be frozen up? Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks all.

 

Everything is frozen. Get some good antifreeze washer fluid and top it off. Best bet is to find a warm garage you can park the van in overnight to let it thaw out.
