Default nitrous and stock F22 internals

do i need to upgrade my ignition if i add nitrous?

do i need to upgrade my fuel system if i add nitrous?

is 65 or 75-shot nitrous safe for an accord with stock internals?

where can i get nitrous cheap?

should i replace any piston rings, pistons or engine seals if i get nitrous (65-75 shot)?

how long can i hold the button down while running the quarter mile? i don't wanna harm my engine, i just want to improve my time slips

You may need a fuel pressor regulator, though a 65 to 75 shot will be fine on the stock internals. Piston rings wouldn't be a bad idea.

I'd get a vafc and colder plugs. Map the VAFC to have the hi throttle map at >95% and tie it into a zex system (only arms at WOT). Dial in as much fuel as you need and you have the colder plugs too.....best of both worlds.

boomshakalaka i ran/run a Nitrous Works kit on my 91LX (never use it anymore).

The mods I thought I needed to support this are as follows:

Crane HI-6 + Crane coil.
B&M FPRiser
I go -2 on plugs from stock.
Retard timing 2 degrees.

I have normally have the 50 or 75 nozzle in, but have been known to be silly and have a 125 on. I'm on my second engine.. at about 220,000 the original cracked the crank.. I think due to the unorthodox crank pulley.

Otherise it was always smooth sailing.. spray on!

My only knock on nitrous is how adictive/expensive it can get. The kits cheap, but the juice adds up. Thats why I'm building my turbo.

PS I just had an arm/disarm and a WOT switch.

sorry didnt see this. basically it depends on your kit and how much pressure you have!!! the nitrous express kits have solenoids they claim you can run until you're outta laughing gas. NOS kits say 15-20 seconds on their solenoids (last i read) and my Nitrous Works kit didnt say. Dunno anything about the ZEX kit, I'm sure someone else here will know.
