Alright so i see oil on the left corner of my motor where the head and block sits together. right below the vtec solenoid, my question is this a sign of a bad headgasket? i retorqued my headstuds thinking that could be the problem but the problem still occurs. i do not see oil by my distributor or leaking from my exhaust cam plug. i highly doubt its my valve cover seal since i dont see it running down my head to the block. so im thinking it could be a cracked headgasket? but still unsure if thats the actual problem. any suggestions would be great. it also builds up a puddle of oil on the headgasket that sticks out through the head and the block. thanks in advance

Glad you figured it out! I was gonna suggest your distributor seal.

 

i had a leak in the same spot.
don't know what it was but stopped leaking.

 

maybe u ran out of oil. LOL
