NEED HELP ON ABOUT THE HEATER!!!!
hey there you guys i have a problem with my 94 acura integra. ok it starts out like this i was driving one day and i noticed my temp on my cluster on high and that means that my car is over heating. so i try to turn on the heater and to see if it come back down and then i notice that the tab to switch it from cold to hot was like hella hard like it was stuck. and then i kind of forced it a little and it broke off at the end were the plastic holds on to the metal. but before all that had happen the coolant in the overflow tank keeps on boiling and then back to the story it starts to over heat. i check most of the basic stuff that could cause the issue. it seems to be fine. so what i did next was i flush out my radiator with radiator flush and change my thermostat and test the car out and it doesnt seem to over heat anymore everything is like back to normal. but then i try to test and see if my heater still works. it still works but its not blowing hot heat anymore. AC works fine but not the heat. still blow air like normal but no hot air is coming out. i still remember that i broke the tab to turn it to hot so i went to the fire wall and adjust the little box valve to let the coolant in to the heater core. i still didnt replace the climate control yet with the broken tab. so i adjust that valve and still no hot air the temp to the car was full warmed up already. so i was wondering the reason why its not blowing hot air is because of the heater core or is it because of the valve by the firewall.
