planning to do this swap(b16a into EK2 1.3 auto) next year when i got the engine. A few questions i would like to ask. What are the parts that i need? I know I will need alot of parts cause my chasis is from an EK. Pls advise. Thanks.

But the infos are mostly about engine spec and how to swap only. I need to know the parts require for the swap. BTW, mine is a RHD.
Anyone ever did this swap before.?

 

If you read the how to you can get what you need from that. Use your head a little man. Is your '1.3' a d series?

Motor
Axles
ECU
harness
Depending on what year motor you get you will need a harness
Mounts
Shift linkage
Obvious things like tranny, dizzy, alternator, etc. that your motor might not come with when you buy it.

 

ya i know, but my swap is from an eg chasis engine into an ek chasis and my car is an auto transmission, Ya mine engine is a D and 1.3cc. very rare around my place. I read some of the threads, b16 can swap directly to an eg8 jus need to change the transmission mount n ecu, I don think mine is tat easy, I don know. Thats why need to ask u guys around. I'm not really familiar wit this engine swapping.

 

I might be doing same thing as you but i have a honda civic dx 1997 with d16y7
and its a automatic but i have all the stuff to convert it to a manual
i have
manual trans
clutch kit
clutch pedal
brake pedal
i forgot what the rest of the stuff i got is called
i think i just need a ecu now
and i am going to wait until the summer to do the conversion because i will have more time.
atfer i do the manual conversion, i'm going to get use to driving stick and everything and then start saving to get a b18c1
