Default Turbo d16y7...no idle acelerates after 4k need help

I have a 00 civic hatch with a d16y7 turbo. Car always ran great,no major problems beside replacing the dizzy and broken map sensor wire. Last night I was letting the car warm up before I left work(as usual)and went I left the parking lot car running fine. I got on it alittle and when I came to a stop sign down the street from my job, the car shut off. Now it doesn't want to stay idle and it idles ruff when I hold the gas pedal. But after 4k rpm it sounds fine. I need help!!! I thought. Maybe it hit boost creep cuz of the cold weather but I let it sit last night and still sounds the same. Something had to happen from when I left my job to the stop sign which was only one block of driving.

started to happen to me right now

I have a turbo d16y7 and suddenly when its cold, it idles funny.

when I hit the gas and let off, the rpm drops and dies out.

when I hold onto the gas pedal a bit, the idle slightly surges up and down but once warm, it drives perfect.

was the broken wire visible?or did u have to use a multimeter to test it?any info on how and why it happened?

As listed in sooo many other posts, surging idle is usually caused from a vacuum leak. Did you set your idle via factory procedure? You disconnect the IACV, move set screw on TB to 400rpm idle, turn off & reset ecu. If you can't idle down to 400rpm, you have a vac leak.
