cranks, start sometime but doesn't stay on
97 integra sedan
Cranks for like 8 seconds, then turns on right. Then after 10 seconds it just turns off.
Cranks for a while then turns on and sputters so i gas it, it turns on. After a bit it just turns off.
how should i begin my diagnoses ?
Fuel pump
Dizzy
Spark plugs
Relay
Which one is the easiest to check, and most commonly the problem?

check fuel. When you turn the car to the "ON" position, listen for a low humming followed by a click. That is your fuel pump priming. If you do not hear these noises, check the main relay for broken/burnt soldering points.
alright i hear the click and the prime so i can rule out relay and fuel pump then?
how would i know if the spark plugs are no good ?

You can test for spark by removing the spark from the cylinder one by one and grounding the thread to the head. Get someone to crank the car, and watch for spark.
if you tap the gas while it is dying, does it pop and quit running or does it sputter back and continue running? While its running can you rev it say to 3k rpm easily, will it continue to run while you bump it up to 3k?
