Can i use b18c1 springs and retainers in my b16 head?

I just got a set of low mile gsr cams which I know are just a small
Upgrade from the stock b16's. But because the combustion chambers
Differ on the two heads would I be OK with the springs and retainers from
the b18c1in my b16 head?

small upgrade hahaa? man are you in for a little surprise. power can be made with gsr cams. i made a little over 540 on a b16 with gsr cams, raving to 10.5k
most spring kits are for "b" heads i think you will be ok.

Yeah I know how all b-series are interchangeable but was just being weary
about the two heads as their chamber workings are different. Everything I've heard
about swapping in the gsr cams is that you really won't see a huge difference from
the stock b16's. Are you saying you noticed a big difference with the gsr's? ?

i dont have dyno charts back to back, but the car did rev out higher, when i was originally tuned i had the gsr cams.
plenty of guys are making great power with the gsr cams, FI of course, NA you may not notice that much of a difference.
